January at Tower Hill

The Limonaia

January is a quiet month at the New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill. It’s wedged between the magic and excitement of the Night Lights festival of lights and the beauty and wonder of the Orchid exhibition in February. It’s a great time to visit the indoor conservatories, the Orangerie with its tropical plants and the Limonaia with its camellias and lemon trees. There are fewer visitors and many tropical plants are in bloom. You can also relax with lunch at the Farmer and the Fork restaurant.
